This Privacy Policy describes how Fairwinds Consulting LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as “Steadywork” (“Steadywork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Steadywork advertising-automation platform, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.
We collect the following categories of information:
When you choose to connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account, you authorize us to access certain data through Meta’s APIs (“Platform Data”). This Section describes our handling of Platform Data, and our practices are intended to be no less protective than, and consistent with, Meta’s own data policies and the Meta Platform Terms.
We process Platform Data solely to provide the Service to you — to read your advertising performance, surface insights and recommendations, and (where you direct) create, update, publish, pause, or adjust the budgets of campaigns in your own ad account. We do not process Platform Data for any purpose unrelated to operating the Service for you.
For information on how to delete Platform Data, see Section 7.
We use the information we collect to:
The Service uses artificial-intelligence technologies to generate ad copy and images, suggest improvements, and analyze performance. Your business information and inputs are processed by AI sub-processors (see Section 5) to create advertising content. We do not permit your data to be used to train these providers’ foundational AI models.
AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before it is published. See the AI provisions in our Terms of Service.
We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the Service. Each processes information only as needed to perform its function and is bound by its own terms and privacy policy:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Facebook/Instagram advertising APIs — reading performance data and managing your campaigns |
| Stripe, Inc. | Payment processing and subscription billing |
| Anthropic, PBC | AI generation of ad copy and text (Claude) |
| Google LLC | AI generation of ad images (Gemini / Nano Banana) |
| Resend, Inc. | Transactional and marketing email delivery |
| Hosting / infrastructure provider | Application hosting, storage, and delivery |
We may update this list as our providers change. Material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only: (a) to the service providers listed above to operate the Service; (b) when you direct us to (e.g., publishing ads to your Meta account); (c) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; (d) to protect the rights, safety, and property of Steadywork, our users, or others; and (e) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.
You can request deletion of your personal information and any Platform Data we hold at any time through either of these paths:
We will delete the requested data as soon as reasonably possible, and in any event within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We will also delete Platform Data when it is no longer needed for a legitimate business purpose, when we stop providing the Service, when you ask us to, when you lose access to the relevant account, or when Meta or applicable law requires it. Some anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be associated with you may be retained.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
The categories of personal information we collect, our purposes, and the third parties we disclose to are described in Sections 1, 3, 5, and 6 above. To exercise any right, contact support@steadyworkads.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR (including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection). The Service is directed to U.S. businesses; contact us if you have questions about a lawful basis for processing.
We may send you commercial email about features, offers, and updates. Every marketing email identifies the sender, includes our physical mailing address, and provides a clear way to opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting support@steadyworkads.com; we honor opt-out requests promptly. Transactional and account-related messages are not promotional and may still be sent.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Steadywork is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
